Karin Autio, the former chief Scientist of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland decided to transfer her long experience in science to the know-how of her company. She has been working for a long time with the quality of baking products and during recent years studied the effect of food texture on nutritional quality. She has published about 100 international scientific articles and many patents. President of Finland granted her 6.12. 2006 award, Suomen Leijonan I luokan ritarimerkki.
